About Free Video Game Day
One video game store in Kitchener, Ontario Canada started hosting Free Video Game Day in 2013 & now, 6 years later, independent stores around the world are participating. Be one of the first 200 people to visit Rocket City Arcade on Saturday May 11, 2019 & pick up a TOTALLY FREE video game (plus some other goodies included in each grab bag). We will also have some special prices on video game systems that day so you can really enjoy your new FREE VIDEO GAME. Quantities are limited to 200 free video games so get there early!

Yes, because we LOVE our customers!
Do I get to choose my free game?
No. Games are in 200 pre-made grab bags, along with other goodies & valuable coupons. You certainly may, however, choose the system that you want the game for (WHILE SUPPLIES LAST). Have a second choice of game for an alternate system in case your first choice is gone.
What systems are available to choose from?
PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, NES, SNES, N64, Game Cube, Wii, WiiU, Sega Genesis, Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, PSP, Nintendo DS, Gamecube & Atari.
I don’t want the free video game I got; I already have this game. Can I trade it in for another game?
Sorry, no. We will not be taking any trades on these games. These games are gifts to our customers. If you do not want the game you receive we recommend giving it to a friend, a child, or donate it to a thrift store or shelter.
Is there an age restriction to receive a free video game?
Yes. We will be giving out goody bags with video games to those people that are 10 and older. We will also have some goody bags just for kids 9 and under.
